2026 Cadillac OPTIQ Battery & Performance

There are two powertrains available for the 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, plus a Velocity Max mode exclusive to the OPTIQ V-Series model that significantly increases the performance capabilities. You have a choice between a standard single-motor powertrain paired with rear-wheel drive (RWD) or a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrain that can be further enhanced with Velocity Max mode enabled. The single motor configuration offers the highest driving range — 300 miles. The dual motor configuration driving range is only 20 miles shorter at 280 miles — still quite an extensive capacity.

With the RWD powertrain, you can charge your powertrain up to 76 miles in about ten minutes using a 150-kilowatt (kW) public DC fast charging station, or up to 71 miles in ten minutes with the AWD powertrain. When you’re at home using a 19.2-kilowatt Level 2 AC charging station, you can charge your RWD powertrain up to 56 miles in about an hour. Or, use an 11.5-kilowatt Level 2 AC charging station to charge your RWD powertrain up to 34 miles in approximately an hour.

The top OPTIQ V-Series model offers a heart-pounding driving experience designed to put you in control of your performance. With its Velocity Max mode, you can go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds. With the Brembo® front performance brakes and continuous damping control also included with the V-Series, you’ll experience precise handling and thrills.
